Children’s Advocacy Centers in Kansas are a diverse group of independent non-profit agencies that share a common commitment: to provide excellent, compassionate care to children and their families following an outcry of abuse.

Each CAC in Kansas facilitates a county-based multidisciplinary team to respond to the needs of the child clients. A CAC affiliated with a specific county has executive a formal agreement with local partners committing to using the CAC model. These partners will include law enforcement, DCF social workers, therapists, medical providers, victim advocates, prosecutors, forensic interviewers and CAC staff.
